Terms of Service

Provider

Get Closure is provided by Safety in Relationships Oy Ltd. (Finland). By using the service you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

Service description

Get Closure is a trauma-informed digital support service that helps you maintain no contact after a breakup using two conversation partners (Ex and Friend).

The service is not therapy, not mental-health treatment and does not replace professional help. It does not provide diagnoses or medical advice.

Age and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old.

The service is not designed for acute crisis. In immediate danger call your local emergency number (112 in the EU).

User responsibilities and prohibited use

You are responsible for the lawfulness of the content you provide. Submitting another person's private information without their consent is prohibited.

Prohibited: illegal content, hate speech, harassment, security circumvention, deliberate model manipulation or using the service to harm others.

We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, without prior notice in case of serious violations.

Pricing and cancellation

Solidarity pay-what-you-can: €0–19.99 / month. 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

Subscriptions auto-renew. You can cancel any time from the profile page; the active period continues to its end and the subscription then ends.

EU consumer law: the right to withdraw from a digital service ends once you start using it with your express consent (given when confirming the subscription).

Intellectual property

You own your content (your messages). You grant Safety in Relationships Oy Ltd. a limited, revocable licence to use it solely to deliver the service to you.

The application, its code, brand and copy are owned by or licensed to Safety in Relationships Oy Ltd.

Limitation of liability

Service is provided as-is. Safety in Relationships Oy Ltd. is not liable for indirect damages, data loss caused by a third-party provider, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.

Governing law and changes

Finnish law applies. Disputes are resolved primarily amicably, otherwise at the District Court of Helsinki. A consumer may also bring suit in their home court.

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
